I underwent a breast surgery early July under the direction of Doctor Leff and his team. My situation was far from being an easy one as I am suffering from an advanced COPD condition which prevents me from having a general anesthesia. Doctor Leff didn’t give up on me and he kept looking for potential alternatives. He came up with the idea of conducting the surgery under a local anesthesia. This was unprecedented. He managed to convince a fabulous and knowledgeable anesthesiologist to follow him in this challenge. The surgery was a great success with an outcome above expectations. The nurses and all the intervenants involved were awesome and very professional. The organization of the entire process was flawless. I always felt safe and well looked after. There was no doubt that I was in good hands. Overall , Doctor Leff demonstrated his diagnosis and plans with clarity and honesty. He was always frank even when the context was not really optimistic. He is a very well-mannered person, courageous and willing. He also has a great empathy.  He has our highest recommendation and we have no doubt that he’ll continue to perform miracles. I have only 2 words to say : THANK YOU !

Mr Leff has a reassuring manner about him. He made me feel at ease from our first meeting and has been remarkably supportive in my journey through my two surgeries. He is patient, warm and super professional. And takes his time to explain and go through the gamut of medical jargon to allay my concerns. I have felt safe in his hands. Post-surgery care has been equally superlative.

From my first introduction with Mr Leff he explained the process of treatment to me for the triple negative cancer that I was diagnosed with. He explained the difference between triple negative and hormone driven cancer, also ACC was rare and so not as much research had been done to find a cure. I required a straight talking doctor who at this point would be quite factual but also able to listen and explain in depth and also guide me and I found this in Mr Leff. I originally requested a bi-laterally mastectomy, Mr Leff quickly explain the counter contradictions to this approach. Mr Leff explained that it would not be required and that there large downside to a mastectomy as statistics show an increased return of this cancer and it would be easier to detect on a mammogram. Mr Leff made the process really smooth and when I required other specialists to be involved he requested these appointments in a timely manner. My chemotherapy was shortened due to neuropathy and an allergic reaction. I had a meeting in clinic with Mr Leff and explained that I had decided that I had had enough of chemo and needed to move on to surgery, at the meeting Mr Leff gave me a date 2 weeks hence on the understand that he could get all the specialists in place as I have a complicate medical history with lung disease and contra indications for surgery but I commend Mr Leff and his team, as all the pre op appointments and procedures went very smoothly, with everything being made available for the surgery. During my final meeting Mr Leff explained the outcome of my surgery and explained very clearly the options available to me, giving me a factual understanding of where surgery had left me. I found this extremely helpful to make a decision on the next stage of treatment. I wish to thank Mr Leff for his due diligence and understanding of me.

I could not rate Mr Leff more highly - extremely professional, clear in his advice about the diagnosis and necessary procedures, and also kind and supportive at a time when patients are very anxious about their condition and what treatments will be necessary. He offered a completely supportive service all round and I felt very confident under his care. I would unhesitatingly recommend Dr Leff and his clinic to anyone who has a breast cancer scare and requires treatment - he is brilliant.

Being told you have cancer is probably the most scariest time of anyone's life. Whilst I was reassured my cancer was detected early and the lump is quite small so chances are very high it will be removed successfully, they are still only words at this stage. Dr Leff spoke to me a week before surgery and explained the procedure. Everything was then set in place systematically and I met him again on the day of the surgery with a team of doctors. 3 weeks post surgery, I have just again met with Dr Leff. It has been a long 3 weeks waiting to know about results of the biopsy and if the cancer was all successfully removed. Good news that the cancer was all removed and it had not spread to the sentinal nodes. I cannot thank Dr Leff and his team enough. I was treated with the utmost dignity and respect. Whilst I was treated under the NHS, it honestly felt like private treatment. I am truly grateful for his expertise in this field and feel fortunate to be 1 of no doubt many that walk away from such surgery with the cancer completely removed. If ever this cancer returns, I would 100% request to be seen by Dr Leff again.
